Regional Sales Director

In our journey to impact on patients lives, we are looking for a Regional Sales Director for South Eastern Euorpe.
 
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible to drive commercial initiatives and lead a sales team across South Eastern Europe. The successful candidate will join a senior team of 3 regional managers in Europe, directly reporting to the VP Sales EMEA. Countries of responsibility are the following: Italy, Turkey, Israel, Balkans and Central-Eastern countries. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a complex sales environment (genomics, clinical workflows), and management of multiple channels while taking accountability for reaching targets. You should also be able to supervise and coach a team of salespeople, local and global partners and set profitable goals. Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills, ability to coach with a strategic mindset. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.
 
Responsibilities
 
Create sales plans and strategies in alignment with EMEA business objectives
Report on regional sales results
Forecast monthly/quarterly and review progress of the sales funnel
Review each team member's performance regularly, identifying skills and areas of improvement
Supervise the development of strategic accounts within the territory
Create and mantain a high-level relationship with local distributors and global patners
Lead market development activities through discussions with KOLs and national networks
 
Requirements
 
Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, or Director, Area Manager or similar senior sales role,
Business Development skills to manage the dynamics of partnerships at national level,
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs),
Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce.com),
Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team,
Excellent communication skills, able to build credibility in front of KOLs and C-levels,
Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude,
Availability to travel 60% of the time,
Proven track record of consultative selling methodology and developmental coaching,
Knowledge of Next-Generation Sequencing and SaaS ecosystem will be a plus.
