To complete our creative and dynamic team in Lausanne, we are seeking an:

Autonomy Engineer

As an Autonomy Engineer you will be part of the Flyability Automation Team, responsible for designing and implementing algorithms for our next generation of drones. The Automation team is a driven and ambitious team working together on solving challenging real-world robotics problems.

Your role:

  • Develop and maintain localization and mapping algorithms
  • Design robust, efficient and well tested code
  • Be flexible to collaborate on whichever problems we might encounter outside field of expertise
  • Going on missions for testing robots in real-world environments

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of professional experiences; developed/maintained 2+ new products shipped to customers a plus
  • Experience with visual and geometrical odometry, SLAM, pose graph optimization
  • Solid working knowledge of C++, Python and associated ecosystems
  • A good team player willing to work in a dynamic team a must
  • Experience with C++11; C++14 and later a plus
  • Previous drone experience a plus
