To complete our creative and dynamic team in Lausanne, we are seeking an:
As an Autonomy Engineer you will be part of the Flyability Automation Team, responsible for designing and implementing algorithms for our next generation of drones. The Automation team is a driven and ambitious team working together on solving challenging real-world robotics problems.
Your role:
- Develop and maintain localization and mapping algorithms
- Design robust, efficient and well tested code
- Be flexible to collaborate on whichever problems we might encounter outside field of expertise
- Going on missions for testing robots in real-world environments
Your profile:
- 5+ years of professional experiences; developed/maintained 2+ new products shipped to customers a plus
- Experience with visual and geometrical odometry, SLAM, pose graph optimization
- Solid working knowledge of C++, Python and associated ecosystems
- A good team player willing to work in a dynamic team a must
- Experience with C++11; C++14 and later a plus
- Previous drone experience a plus
