Role Purpose

We have a strong team of product managers working closely with product designers, software engineers and data scientists. Each product manager looks after one or several products within Cognism’s eco-system with autonomy and clear accountability over strategy, goals and metrics.

We are specifically looking for a candidate that will bring a strong UX skill set to the role, working closely with the Product Design team, to help us improve our practice and methodology.

You will always be seeking to identify MVP, advocating releasing early and often, and reducing time to market while also reducing risk through effective testing strategies. We are a start-up, growing fast, and we expect the product manager to be able to always stay on top of the priorities in our fast-paced environment.

This role reports to the Head of Product.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Cognism’s business drivers and its customers.
  • Prioritise work for the team to make sure you maximise the value of the features delivered.
  • Define user stories in collaboration with design and engineering.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to align expectations and ensure a good product marketing, efficient implementation and optimised user adoption.
  • Help track and monitor product metrics to make data driven decisions and measure impact.
  • Experiment the solutions before building them to validate that the team can solve users’ problems.
  • Create some UX mocks by yourself and work closely with the design team to deliver them.

 

Skills & Experience

  • You will have had different experiences in building successful software product, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience of different agile frameworks and of the lean methodology, breaking down complex problems into small steps to iterate on.
  • Strong UX & UI skills, background as a designer is a bonus.
  • Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others
  • Strong communication skills with the right level of information from discussing the details of a user story to presenting the roadmap to Cognism’s leadership team.
