Biopharma Global Relationship Manager (Boston/Cambridge or Switzerland))

Nanolive, a growing scale-up company situated at the Lake Geneva Park in Tolochenaz has developed a disruptive technology that allows users for the first time ever to explore a living cell in 3D without damaging it. To support its growth, Nanolive is looking for a highly motivated and outstanding Biopharma Global Relationship Manager.

Location:  

Global responsibility, based either in the US (Boston /Cambridge area) or out of our head office in Tolochenaz, Switzerland. Expect up to 50% travelling. Exceptional candidates in other European or US locations might be considered.

Job Description:

Leveraging your extensive network in BioPharma, you will build relationships with drug discovery companies, positioning Nanolive as a key partner for live cell assays and facilitating the update of our technologies and assay solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for developing KOL relationships and for bringing the voice of the customer back to Nanolive to facilitate the development of new products. You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer with dotted line to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Build out a prioritized network of relevant BioPharma companies working in cell-based drug discovery, and identify key individual contacts

  • Visit with and facilitate senior-level presentations and meetings

  • Identify contacts current and future needs and workflows concerning cellular assay and research

  • Promote Nanolive solutions, and bring in Nanolive sales and applications teams to demonstrate them as necessary

  • Using a consultative approach, convert contacts to customers

  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities using our Salesforce CRM

  • Execute company strategies to achieve sales growth

  • Build and sustain long-lasting business relationships with customers

  • Negotiate & manage complex global contracts

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of BioPharma/Drug discovery, with a current network (we really need someone who can immediately leverage current contacts to get meetings)
  • Undergraduate qualification in cell biology or related field (preferred PhD or MSc)
  • Laboratory drug discovery experience, particularly live cell imaging, is an advantage
  • Full driver's licence
  • Able to work independently and travel freely in the European Union & US
  • Enthusiasm to support a new technology in the market
  • US citizen if based in US, Swiss Citizen or current C or B permit holders if to be based in Switzerland
  • Good communication skills (Proficiency in English is required, and other European languages are a big plus)
  • Strong demonstration of collaboration across all functions and levels within an organization
  • Strong negotiation skills is a must
