About the role

As an Account Executive at Unsupervised, you’ll lead the client’s journey into the world of Unsupervised AI. You will be at the forefront of a next generation approach to how Unsupervised AI / ML platform enables Enterprises to uncover hidden business insights in their data and turn those insights into business value . In this role, you will lead the customer through uncovering their need, teaching them a new way to get value from their data, prove and differentiate Unsupervised’s capabilities, and help the customer procure and contract our Solution.  

 

In order to succeed at this role, you should:

  • Be curious and inquisitive
  • Have a proven, high performance background and become trusted advisors to C-Suite, Director, and VP level leaders from companies with annual revenues between $250M - $2B
  • Engage with clients at all points of the sales cycle - including prospecting, product demonstrations, on-site presentations, through close
  • Drive net-new revenue growth through new logo acquisition and expansion of current accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for your territory and create reliable forecasts
  • Focus on self-development through daily training and enablement
  • Possess a selling background BI / AI / ML & SaaS EnterprisePlatforms
  • Thrive in the early stage growth phase, and can grow with us as we grow.

 

What you’ll do

  • Lead and Execute a value driven sales process that provokes your customer to think differently to achieve breakthrough results.  You will win new accounts and expand value and revenue within those accounts by:
    • Generating demand and mindshare in target accounts -  identify, target, engage, and provoke prospective customers
    • Lead a value based sales process to discover, differentiate, and negotiate value with our customers
    • Conducting Discovery and needs analysis, 
    • Effectively present position and present a new way of tackling Data Science and generating business insights and results – you will establish how we do it and how we do it better than other BI and AI approaches.
  • You are comfortable to establish how Unsupervised can address the customer pain or opportunity
  • Building Champions and winning sponsorship and advocacy at executive and leadership ranks
  • Prove value via reference selling and proof of value / evaluation with the support Sales Engineering and Data Science team members
  • Influence and orchestrate complex contracting and negotiation cycles.
  • Set your delivery and customer success peers up for success teaming with them to scope projects and uses cases that deliver value quickly and predictably to your customers
  • Partner with Unsupervised CRO, Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing and Management to evolve our process and product and accelerate our market success.

 

What we're looking for

  • You have experience navigating Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting applications
  • You have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding quotas
  • You love closing complex, consultative deals
  • You are able to travel when necessary
  • Experience with MEDDICC, Value Based Selling, Command of Message, Challenger-based approaches
  • You have 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally in SaaS

 

Compensation range: Approximately $85k - 100k Salary / 170k to 200K OTE + equity
