VP, Sales - North America
MATRIXX is seeking a seasoned Vice President, Sales - North America. As part of the MATRIXX Leadership Team, this role is a sales leadership role with accountability for leading all of MATRIXX’s sales and business development activities in the region. The successful candidate will build, define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the region.
The ideal candidate will have an unstinting passion for digital innovation and culture; who understands the nuance of what our customers, both existing and potential, need from us to deliver world-class results for their organization leveraging the MATRIXX Digital Commerce platform in the ever-changing digital environment.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing a team that sells BSS to telco operators.You Will Do
- Manage a US/Canada-based team, targeting and developing accounts across the region.
- Represent and articulate the MATRIXX solution to prospects & customers at both a technical (CTO/CIO) & business (CEO/CDO/CMO) level.
- Develop a territory plan to sell MATRIXX’s full set of products and services either directly or working alongside our SI partners.
- Build, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out assigned yearly target.
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis.
- Weekly forecasting and pipeline management.
- Develop relationships with regional SI partners to drive net new leads.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop the North America marketing plan.
You Will Bring:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience building and leading a sales organization in a senior management capacity.
- 12+ years’ sales experience in working for or selling to telco operators.
- Proven successful track record of complex solutioning and managing large bids/projects.
- Strong leading-edge Telco/CSP knowledge.
- Freedom to travel across the region when safe to do so (approximately 50-70%).
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Highly team oriented, collaborative and flexible.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related subject area.
