Human Resources Manager (100%)

Nanolive, a growing scale-up company situated at the Lake Geneva Park in Tolochenaz, offers an enabling product suite to look inside living cells without damaging them. Through its technology, Nanolive delivers game-changing solutions for the bio-pharmaceutical market. To support our growth, we are seeking a Human Resources Manager to help us in scaling-up of our teams in Switzerland/USA and their talent management, respectively.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an HR manager to take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, company HR policy, administrative tasks, and talent management. To perform well in this all-rounder role, you should have experience as an HR Manager, or other senior roles in people management and support.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Growth management: manage the recruitment and selection process
    • Consistently recruit excellent staff at an accelerated rate (2-3 hires per month)
    • Maintaining and building up a smooth onboarding process
  • Talent management: development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
    • Conducting performance and wage reviews in cooperation with line managers
    • Nurture a positive working environment, professional mediation, and staff training programs
    • Advise management on the evolution of company organization, responsibilities, and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • HR administration: Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, procedures across the organization
    • Carrying out necessary administrative duties in close cooperation with the financial department and external consultants
    • Handling workplace incidents, disciplinary and termination procedures.
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Company policy: develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
    • Maintaining and communicating on workplace health, safety compliance, and workplace privacy
    • Maintaining and developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness (including T&E and IT)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent (copies required)
  • Minimum seniority: experience in human resources or related field of at least 8 years (copies of work certificates required)
  • Strong analytical skills with diligence to meticulously master administrative processes, ideally with experience in using state-of-the-art ERP systems (please name in your application)
  • Strong people skills to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for this job, French a plus
  • Knowledge around all legal requirements (as it related to Swiss law) in this role is a must-have
  • Prior experience in growing staff by multiple times nX is a plus
