Recruitment Operations Manager

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a Recruitment Operations Manager to play a meaningful role in scaling our global hiring practices and programs.

Based in either our Lausanne (St. Sulpice, Switzerland), or Bidart (France) office, the Recruitment Operations Manager will drive the core global operational processes for the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring we achieve hiring success by building/delivering/optimizing our processes, tools, systems, and reporting. These efforts will support both internal (TA team, HR team, hiring team) as well as external (candidates, college/university partners, external programs, staffing partners) stakeholders.

In this role, reporting to the VP of Global Talent Acquisition, you will partner closely across SOPHiA to develop rigor and operational excellence around:

  • Reporting: Understand stakeholder requirements for reporting. Building out reports and dashboards to measure recruiting performance for hiring managers, candidate activity, and the talent acquisition / HR team. Reporting may include requisition activity, goal/budget tracking, and capacity planning.
  • Process Excellence and Technology Enablement: Optimize operational process flows that enable the talent acquisition team to move with speed and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.
    • Processes may include enabling technology for offer/requisition approval process, staffing agency usage, Talent Acquisition workflows. You will work cross-functionally to propose and drive system and process improvements that align with evolving business needs, deliver results, and enable SOPHiA to scale. This includes ensuring tools (LinkedIn, our Applicant Tracking System, and other tools) are fully optimized and utilized to deliver value to SOPHiA. In addition to current tools, the Manager of Talent Acquisition Operations will also research and suggest new tools/resources to support our growth.
  • Programs: Develop and oversee talent programs such as University Relations, DE&I recruitment, Employee Referral Programs, and other key initiatives to enhance SOPHiA’s reputation, and to drive hiring and create best-in-class experiences.

For all initiatives, we are seeking a clear plan that includes expected results, investment, and change management and training strategy.

This is an exciting and critical role that will ensure our TA team is set up for the next cycle of company growth, therefore the successful candidate will ideally have experience scaling Talent Operations in a high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of Talent Acquisition Operations experience in a high-growth organization
  • Deep understanding of recruiting systems and platforms and how best to achieve full optimization and adoption; experience with Workable is a plus
  • Ability to develop systems and processes to support smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
  • Highly analytical with experience developing and refining recruiting-related reporting and analytics
  • Ability to make data-driven strategic recommendations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive complex projects into concise solutions
  • Demonstrated track record of building successful TA programs from the ground up
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to identify scalable solutions and set objectives
  • Possess a collaborative working style, comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a geographically distributed organization
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable with pivot tables, basic formulas, and synthesizing insights from data
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication
  • Team player who loves to be part of-and contribute to- a growing team
