Trade Marketing Manager — Power and Mining

The Opportunity
 
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and hands-on marketing professional to drive our ambitious growth plans in the Power and Mining industries. In this role, you will define and own our marketing strategy for the assigned industries, closely collaborate with and support Marketing Communications, Product Management, and Sales for its successful execution, and be the central expert for any industry-related inquiries. You will closely monitor competitive movements and market trends, work closely with sales and define customer use cases, ANYbotics value proposition and resulting ROI models and quantification mechanics. You will closely engage with stakeholders during conferences, webinars, and other events to support increasing awareness of our robotic inspection & maintenance solution to automate and digitalize the operation within the Power and Mining, Metals & Minerals industry. You will work in a fast-growing team of engaged and dedicated colleagues and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
 
The Market & Our Technology
 
ANYbotics transforms the industrial sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach (see our case studies in Mining, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Railways, Wind Energy, Construction). Our end customers are large asset operators and service providers of industrial plants pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our solution enables autonomous routine inspections and monitoring of large scale industrial facilities for increased safety and productivity. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, as well as all software to enable world-class mobility, autonomy and AI driven inspection insights. We are rapidly scaling-up sales of our value generating end-to-end inspection solution after having proven the technology and its value proposition with dozens of industrial end customers over the past years.
 

Your contributions

    • Define and drive execution of marketing strategies for your assigned industries
    • Drive results through detailed definition of ideal customer profiles, customer use cases, value propositions, ROI models and valuation metrics and enable Sales with deep dive material and support to have most effective customer interactions
    • Closely follow market dynamics, competitive behavior, and customer trends, and define adequate plans from ANYbotics
    • Develop industry content strategies in close collaboration with Marketing Communications and Sales
    • Act as focal point for alignment between Sales, Field Engineering, Marketing Communications and Product Management to develop novel sales support material
    • Identify customer needs, discuss those with product management and act as central contact for any industry related inquiries
    • Build industry network and engage with stakeholders during conferences, webinars, and other events to drive awareness of ANYbotics in the market
    • Support Sales in complex tenders and RFPs in order to translate customer needs into technical-commercial proposals
    • Actively involve yourself in the further development of our marketing processes & tools

Your profile

    • University degree Master’s in engineering, marketing, business or related field
    • Proven track record and current or very recent experience in trade marketing / industry vertical marketing in complex, high-tech industrial solutions and services
    • Experience in Power and/or Mining, Metals & Minerals industry, either in a marketing or sales function
    • Strong project management and presentation skills (incl. designing presentations) and previous experience in acting as focal point and managing complex interactions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ideally also in German
    • Fast learner and able to understand disruptive high-tech products and their related processes quickly
    • High curiosity and interest in detailed customer needs and applications and ability to translate those business requirements, even without technical background
    • High proactiveness, persistence and drive to achieve performance goals
    • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% for conferences and events
    • Know-how and experience in inspection and maintenance of industrial plants is a plus
