Reporting directly to our Chief Business Officer, the Head of Marketing has overall responsibility for commercial & product marketing strategies. The Head of Marketing leads a team responsible for commercial & brand, product marketing, scientific communications, digital marketing and events.
We are defining our brand identity as an organisation at the crossover between a Next-Generation SaaS Data Platform built around a highly scientific and clinical data set. The goal is to support the company’s high growth expectations, as the company expands deeper and more broadly into global markets.
Set and implement effective product marketing and communications strategies and tactics that will engage target audiences and spread the message about the company and products
Leads commercial marketing, product marketing and scientific communications on the development and production of all marketing and advertising materials, leaning on your experience to encourage creative marketing strategies and approaches to differentiate SOPHiA GENETICS in a crowded SaaS & healthcare space
Work in partnership with Product Management, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations and the CEO Officer to ensure a singular, harmonised brand message is built and nurtured across all communication channels
Lead a digital marketing team responsible for maintaining the company website, SEO metrics and best practice, managing marketing automation and lead generation tool in collaboration with Sales Ops
Drive the ongoing repositioning of the external brand as a SaaS Data Platform
Industry exposure specifically related to a digital, technology or software product (Software, SaaS, Cloud platforms, IoT) with experience in product launches on a global basis is critical. You must have this experience to move forward.
You will have strong working knowledge (8-10 Years) driving & leading commercial marketing, product marketing and communication strategies.
You’ll need to be comfortable in a rapid change, agile and ambiguous environment, with experience of leading and managing teams internationally including Product Marketing, Corporate Communications and Scientific Communications.
As we continue to scale-up and drive organizational maturity a solutions-focused mindset where you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves is absolutely critical.
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis, as well as a solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
Further exposure to scientific/medical industries is beneficial, but not essential.

We work in an office-first hybrid environment. You’ll need to be comfortable commuting to our office for 3 days PW. This is not a remote hire.
