Electronics System Engineer

Your role:

Your role will be to participate in the hardware development and sustaining of Flyability’s current and future UAVs, accessories and payload.

What you will own:

  • Translating product requirements in technical specifications. and ensuring good components are selected to meet them
  • Owning the system performances, risks and validation plans
  • Driving technical reviews of subsystems during product development
  • Organizing and providing test report, DFMEA, and other templates
  • Tracking and analyzing system bugs and performance limitations to improve future products
  • Keeping up to date with state of the art technologies in the industry

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Solid understanding of systems engineering work flow & hands-on experience
  • Experience in logical and systematic conversion of customer facing feature sets to system level requirements acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Experience in design and development of power, digital and analogue circuitry
  • Experience in C with STM32 ARM-Cortex M MCUs
  • Experience with communication standards such as CAN, SPI, I2C, USB and Ethernet
  • Experience with BLDC motor controllers
  • Knowledge of radio frequency electronics (2.4GHz)
  • Eye for details, structured work organization and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good level of English. French or any additional language an asset
