Drone Pilot

Temporary Assignment - 6 months - Full-time

Your role

  • Fly the Flyability drones inside various industrial assets for demonstrations and Proof of Concepts for prospects and customers to demonstrate the value of the product
  • Provide customers and partners with assistance in mission planning and execution
  • Assist the sales team with complex piloting needs during events and during roadshows
  • Assist the successful onboarding of customers and partners by walking them through the training process, and performing training when needed
  • Perform maintenance and piloting training for partners
  • Coordinate trainings for customers with commercial partners
  • Manage training and technical partnerships
  • Assist with other tasks required by the team as needed

 

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Diploma in a Technical Field and/or equivalent experience required
  • Proactivity, integrity, and the ability to work in an international team
  • Proven experience operating drones or robotic devices
  • Proven track-record in a customer facing role, providing support and expertise
  • Fluent English and German; other languages - e.g. French/Italian - are a strong asset
  • Experience working on industrial sites (refineries, chemical plants, mines, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience processing visual data and 3d models is a plus
  • European drone licence is a plus
  • Familiarity with drone regulations is a plus
  • Ability to load, unload, set up equipment weighing 20-30 kilos
  • Ability to work on industrial sites, which may require climbing multiple flights of stairs, working at heights, or working in hazardous environments
  • Ability to work in the Switzerland
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Europe, Middle East and Africa
  • Driving licence is required

Travel:

Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, with peaks of 100%, sometimes over the weekend. A company credit card will be provided for all business travel expenses.
