Sales Director, Southeast Asia

We are rapidly growing our sales team and are looking for an experienced sales leader to coach, grow and develop the talented sales professionals in our teams, taking them from strength to strength and building exceptional sales teams within the South East Asia region. The principal countries to be covered are: Singapore, Philippines, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Vietnam & Hong Kong.

You will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and continually increase their individual and team performance through recruiting, coaching, training and systematically growing the team’s capabilities to maximise achievement. It’s fun to achieve goals, it’s absolutely amazing to lead high-performing teams that continually knock it out of the ballpark.

The ideal candidate is a person who has not just built their own very successful track record in selling enterprise SaaS solutions, but who has made the conscious choice to positively influence others’ careers.  You are a highly effective coach and leader and you have created/managed a new sales team in a developing territory.  You are an excellent judge of character, astute in managing challenging goals, coaching to process and methodology and you have a track record in making others succeed. This role has direct management responsibilities over a team of sales professionals and carries a team quota. Your success is the team’s success.

What You Will Do

  • Recruit, train, coach & develop enterprise sales executives
  • Lead individuals and your team as a whole to high performance
  • Facilitate the achievement of the team’s sales quota
  • Evangelize with and on behalf of the team, particularly supporting them in accessing senior level client contacts and elevating the conversation
  • Understand and improve individuals’ performance through the lens of process, methodology and targets
  • Create clarity for team members, help them find creative deal structures and remove obstacles to help them achieve challenging goals
  • Develop individuals into their best selves, stellar sales executives who can bring their full potential to bear
  • Leverage metrics and dashboards to create excitement towards target achievement
  • Ensure fairness and integrity in sales processes, outcomes and development
