Product Manager (Inherited Rare Diseases, Genomics)

Have you owned the lifecycle of clinical products within the NGS workflow? Do you have direct knowledge of panels across Inherited Rare Diseases?

Bring your experience & passion to SOPHiA GENETICS as our new Product Manager for Inherited Rare Disease Products. You’ll predominantly focus on large panels, with further exposure as we drive into whole genome sequencing.

Enjoy collaborating with colleagues internationally with our hybrid work set-up, based on the Central US / East Coast or in Western Europe.

Your mission:

Reporting to the Director, Genomics, you will globally own the complete lifecycle of large panel products within our Inherited Rare Disease portfolio. You’ll combine technical and commercial ability to ensure product growth.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Act as a true champion and owner of your product portfolio for all upstream and downstream activity, driving commercial success on a global landscape
  • Total lifecycle management – From inception, through development and review and onto sunsetting for multiple product lines
  • Commercial ownership – Pricing structure, Market analysis, product delivery models and financial forecasting
  • Complete stakeholder engagement – Ensuring seamless partnership between all internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Product Management, directly responsible for a product or portfolio within inherited rare disease.
  • 5+ years experience within industry or academia directly engaging with Clinical, Genomic & Diagnostic Products. Clinical Application knowledge of the NGS workflow is critical.
  • Exposure to tertiary tools with experience in interpretation.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with past experience in financial forecasting and market analysis, owning the relationship with Sales and Finance
  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a relevant field such as Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or similar.
