RF Testing Intern

6 months internship

Your role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled intern to join our team, working on a complete and sophisticated transmission testing setup. The intern will be responsible for designing and assembling the physical test setup and writing all necessary software to simulate our complicated environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about Python programming, have a basic understanding of RF, and be experienced in image processing.

What you will own:

• Design and assemble a physical test setup that simulates a complicated environment, including multi-bounce, weak signal, and external disturbances.
• Develop software in Python to create a computer interface using libraries such as OpenCV, GStreamer, and others for generating and acquiring a video stream that is transmitted.
• Utilize a Software Defined Radio (SDR) to automatically generate and inject various disturbances into the test environment.
• Develop methods to measure various transmission quality parameters, including latency, compression rate, frame losses, and disturbance rejection.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze test results and optimize the transmission setup.
• Document test procedures, results, and recommendations for future improvements.
