Product Manager

(based from our Geneva office 3 days per week)

 

This is an exciting but demanding role for entrepreneurial, dynamic candidates with a track record of successfully developing and launching new products, managing the entire product life cycle from A to Z and working cross functionally across the company to ensure that timelines and launch dates are met. As Product Manager you will:

  • Work with the Executive Committee (ExCo) to develop and design new products for our business
  • Develop the product roadmap and strategy and establishing relevant timelines in consultation with the ExCo.
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs, expectations, and experience with medimaps products.
  • Determine product market demands and establish long term goals to develop, build and implement product strategies, that are consistent with company vision
  • Conduct feasibility studies regarding new features and market needs.
  • Prepare recommendations to expand product base and vision
  • With the clinical and regulatory team, assess the need for potential clinical studies for product advancements as well as associated regulatory submissions
  • Lead product development lifecycle, prepare recommendations to expand product base and vision, prepare recommendations to track product use and impact on end users.
  • Work with a team of Project Managers, Software Engineers, and Business Strategy, and Marketing Professionals to drive the development of and own the product line.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers to coordinate the cross functional management and execution of the product development strategy
  • Contribute to the grooming of the product backlog items and prioritize based on the overall strategy and business objectives
  • Map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.
  • Collaborate with the MarCom team to develop marketing strategies and plans to highlight core features of the product
  • Assist and support marketing and sales in their research and analysis to identify key markets, market segments, product type, relevant distribution channels and in developing appropriate strategies to manage these channels.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department in the preparation of financial projections for the product P&L.
  • Work with Regulatory & Quality Affairs, to identify, discuss and initiate relevant submissions for new product introductions, and to conduct product risk analysis, PMS, PSUR.

 

SKILLSET – this job is made for you if :

 

  • You have 10 years industry relevant experience, including at least 4 years as a Product Manager, or other relevant position, preferably in a SaaS or SaMD business environment
  • You are a bold and strategic thinker with a track record of successfully developing and launching new software products
  • You have strong business acumen to build a business case, manage budgets, prepare financial projections and forecasting and profit-and-loss
  • You can operate calmly under tight deadlines, prioritize multiple projects, take initiative, and efficiently organize and execute plans.
  • You are collaborative and capable of building consensus and strong cross functional working relationships
  • You are comfortable and confident when communicating with industry influencers, associates, and internal and external partners, at all levels of the organization
  • You are an excellent problem-solver with a creative approach with the ability to explore and generate fresh ideas
  • Ability to collect and critically analyze data (market, technical, clinical, customer) with logic and reasoning
  • Ability to prioritize a broad range of competing objectives so as to optimize the potential of market returns v’s internal capabilities
  • You demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the various tools and methodologies used for undertaking market research and competitor analysis
  • You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and execute
  • You are excited about a start-up experience and managing significant growth
  • You are a confident, convincing and persuasive product manager, capable of navigating resistance and able to challenge the status quo when required
  • You are dedicated, adaptable, reliable and persistent,
  • You have strong business acumen and are comfortable advising leaders
  • Ability to effectively partner at all levels of the organization
  • You have exceptional organization & planning skills with flawless execution
  • Strong project management skills, with Agile and Scrum a plus

Additional Requirements:

 

Domain knowledge:

Deep understanding of the radiology market, including market structure, main actors, hospital and radiology ecosystem and workflows, customers (potential and existing needs and experience), data management, tools and systems used/needed by the market.

 

 

Technical knowledge: Existing knowledge or an ability to learn new technologies quickly (including SaMD product development, SaaS, EMR, DICOM, e-Health solutions, bone analysis). Background in software development and program management is a plus. Knowledge of SaaS in Radiology is also a real plus.

 

Adobe suite; Pack Office/MS Office (or Mac equivalent) use fluency; Knowledge of SalesForce or other CRM’s very advantageous, Software development skills a plus (python, C#, .net)

 

 

 

Clinical knowledge: Understanding of clinical studies – rational, set up, stakeholder and methodology.

 

 

Education:

Primary degree in any industry related discipline e.g. business, biomechanical engineering, science/ medicine/radiology, compute science, engineering.

 

MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or the equivalent in experience a plus

 

Project Management Certification: PMP, ACP, CSM, Prince2 etc., a plus

 

 

Languages:

 

English fluency essential (written & oral); French or any other language a plus
