The Role:

At Cognism, we run a demand generation first approach to marketing, this means we think differently about content delivery. Solely focusing on writing blog posts and e-books is a thing of the past.

We are looking for a grad that yes can write, but who also understands that content delivery has changed and repurposing and curating content in the form of videos, snippets, and podcasts (to name a few) sounds just as appealing as writing a blog.

The ideal candidate will be curious by nature and thrive off coming up with fresh content ideas to cut through the noise. Anything you lack in hands-on experience, you make up for in an eagerness to learn and test.This role will sit within the demand generation pod and you will own the content strategy and creation for our overall narrative and points of view. You will specifically be working within the revenue operations persona pod, meaning that you will become an expert in our rev ops customers and prospects and delivering to them valuable content in a whole range of formats that will truly enable them to do their roles better. What you’ll be doing:

  • Content Strategy: Working closely with the demand generation manager you will develop and align on important points of view to feed your content strategy for our rev ops persona. Scaling this across repeatable channels but also thinking outside the box to unlock new and engaging formats.
  • Content Creation: You will take content from idea to execution based on use across multiple formats and channels and its purpose in the create demand media machine.
  • Content Production: You will have a strong understanding of the messages we want to communicate and work closely with the demand generation manager, design team and video team to curate value led content that will ensure our audience stop scrolling and take notice!
  • Campaign Activation: You’ll input on key messaging plays and then bring our campaigns to life with content fit to wow our audience. You’ll inject creativity into the process by exploring the most engaging ways to communicate our message.

Requirements

  • A real self starter, someone who is confident working autonomously and always on the hunt for new ways to engage our audience.
  • You will always be searching for the next best story and contributor. You won’t be afraid to outreach directly and build a network of marketing influencers to use in your content.
  • A true content creator - excited to work on multiple content formats across different channels.
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience, with examples of your work.
  • Self-motivated - you aren’t afraid to ask questions when you need to understand something, but you’ll always try to figure out the answer on your own first.
  • Happy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable at handling multiple projects concurrently.
