Paloma Bosco
Paloma Bosco, born in Rome, Italy, is the Head of Group Innovation and New Businesses at Swisscom. In this role, she drives innovation and builds new business models to fuel the group’s ongoing growth. Her key responsibilities include overseeing group-wide innovation programs, establishing a “Value Factory” to identify and execute new business opportunities, and fostering a culture of innovation both within and beyond Swisscom.
Paloma holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Rome and a Master’s in Political Economy from the University of Amsterdam. She began her career with Accenture in Rome, followed by a strategic role at Bain & Company, where she advised clients in healthcare, telecommunications, and energy on customer experience, M&A, and product development. She then took on corporate strategy at eBay EMEA, focusing on business development, M&A, and venture investments. In 2019, Paloma joined i-surance as COO, leading the startup’s European expansion and eventual integration into Bolttech. Her professional focus includes marketplaces and insurtech/fintech, fields where she finds inspiration in solutions that address complex challenges.
On a personal note: Paloma enjoys sailing, skiing, and immersing herself in nature. She has a passion for opera, jazz, and adventure travel with her family. With roots in a large, lively Italian and Spanish family, Paloma is deeply committed to the transformative power of education.
