ASSIA is hiring a senior software engineer in our Madrid office to work on the latest Web technologies to play an influential role in building our Wi-Fi product. The right candidate will be an enthusiastic, hands-on developer, and will also be experienced with the entire software engineering life cycle from requirement analysis, architecture, design, development, code review, quality assurance to deployment.  The successful candidate must be able to work independently with minor supervision. Expert knowledge of Java is required.    Qualifications  Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree with at least four years’ experience and demonstrated growth in responsibility every year. Preferred: Master’s degree with at least two years’ of experience and demonstrated growth in responsibility every year.   Experience:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Experience with commercial enterprise software development; server-side Java applications, high-availability applications and network design, Web-based applications using Mongo databases in a Linux environment
• Strong background with multi-threaded core Java application development and deployment
• Strong experience in leveraging Spring framework
• Experience working with a remote team
• Must be willing to have a work time overlap for a couple of hours with the remote team in US.

Desirable:

• Experience in Full stack web development
• Reference to an active github is a big plus
• Knowledge of developing network or telecom management systems
• Skilled in Linux, Maven, scripting
