Senior Sales Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager for Spain, Portugal and Latin America to join an exciting and dynamic organization that is shaping the future of broadband and wireless network connectivity. 

This highly visible role as part of ASSIA Global Sales Team will contribute to the company growth by finding business opportunities in new clients and growing existing accounts in the Area.

In this "hands on role" the Senior Sales Manager performs a variety of key tasks including sales, presales support, tendering support and after sales account consolidation, by analyzing customer needs and implementing plans and strategies for developing professional services proposals that meet client requirements. In this role will be supported partnering closely with product management and marketing teams.

In this role, the position will report to the VP Sales Iberia and Latin America

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

Sales functions:

  • Prepare sales budgets
  • Develop sales in existing accounts by means of New Features and Professional Services
  • Enter new accounts
  • Prepare proposals including generation of documents, management of prices, profitability analysis and downloading of documents in client´s platforms
  • Take care of the full invoicing process from acceptance to invoicing codes and invoice loading at e-business client´s platforms.
  • Identify, manage, and approach key players in the Service Providers
  • Build Business Cases from different perspectives
  • Work with customers to create compelling customer references
  • Create and manage presales efforts
  • Coordinate seminars, webinars and other training initiative with clients
  • Get agreements for Press Releases

 

 

 

Qualifications / Experience

MSc Engineering Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college

Minimum of 20 (15) years’ experience in the Telecom field of which not less than 10 years in Sales to Telecom Operators/Service Providers.

Experience preferable on Access Networks and/or OSS Platforms and tools.

Experience in selling Wi Fi solutions.

Relationships in the service provider space (telecom and cable) is needed

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Project coordination, process development, organizational skills

Strong leadership and influencing skills.

Superior critical reasoning and analytical skills.

High energy results driven leader with solid work ethic

Team oriented professional creating smooth, effective working relationships

"Hands On" detail focused with commitment to adhering to strategic deadlines

Fluency in both Spanish and English languages. Portuguese knowledge, desirable.
