AM-TFT Backplane Engineer

H.Glass was established in 2011 with the vision of making the Eco-Habitat and sustainable building a reality. Since then, we have developed a unique manufacturing process of glass encapsulation of the dye-sensitized solar cells used in the glass device.

Our technology has come to life in large pilot projects and has been recognized by several awards. In 2014, H.Glass received the prestigious Watt d’Or award in the category “Renewable Energies” by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.

The position is based in Lausanne – EPFL Innovation Park.

We are currently developing an ambitious product and looking for an AM-TFT backplane Engineer

 

Your Mission

• Design, simulate and optimize the pixel circuit for novel active-matrix-based displays.
• Analyse electro-optical response of pixel cell, research and develop the optimized driving scheme.
• Responsible for the electronic architecture of TFT backplane.
• Communicate with active-matrix backplane suppliers, defining the specification of the desired backplane design.

 

Your Profile

• 3 years of relevant working experience in active-matrix backplane design divisions of TFT-LCD and AMOLED industries.
• BS or MS in Electronic or electrical engineering.
• Hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit design.
• Familiar with SPICE modelling and simulation tools.
• Fluent in English.
• Self-motivated, creative and responsive
