Regional Lead - Americas

Role: Regional Lead, AmericasMATRIXX Software is globally acclaimed for breaking new ground, launching creative solutions and modernizing the digital landscape. MATRIXX prides itself on a high quality, high touch, best-in-class Delivery team which is rapidly growing so we can continue to provide the expert guidance upon which our customers rely. The Regional Lead owns the Professional Services business within their allocated region.Responsibilities: • Owns all delivery projects within a region, including:      • driving the project teams to deliver on the promises made to the customer.     • managing regional team resourcing and logistics.     • ownership of all regional project costs at a consolidated level, with individual project costs owned by the delivery PM.     • monitoring of Status for all projects.     • acting as the initial point of escalation for all project issues.     • working with the heads of global resourcing and global operations to deliver continual customer success through appropriate resourcing and financial management.     •reviewing and approving change variation orders through Services approval chain for ongoing projects where additional or amended scope is agreed.     • ensuring all project artefacts and deliverables are reviewed and exceed MATRIXX required quality.• Shape and support Services’ pre-sales activities with new and existing customers, including:      • production of Statements of Work.     • completing financial models for regional bids.     • supporting ongoing negotiation and amendments of Service Engagements with customers, pre-contract.   • supporting VPs' face-to-face negotiation with customer project and procurement teams.   • working with Services Operations Director to ensure MATRIXX commercial and legal compliance of all documents. •High level of travel required, regardless of location.Required Experience:• 10+ years of experience in managing a portfolio of programs. • A proven track record in building and managing a regional operation. • 15+ years of experience working in the Telecommunications Industry particularly with Tier 1/Tier 2 operators. • International working experience. • 10+ years of experience in delivering software projects covering all aspects from inception to deployment and beyond. • Solid domain understanding and experience of Telecom operators' IT and relevant BSS/OSS interfacing network architecture. • Direct experience of working for a Services organization delivering complex bids and responses. • Direct experience of working for a software company selling complex solutions and services to tier 1 and 2 operators.• In-depth understanding of the BSS and/or OSS software domain.• Proven management experience in supporting multiple, geographically spread teams and engagements.• The ability to work to strict deadlines and deliver success to a range of customers.• A proven track record of working with COTS applications in the Telecom Industry, including at least one of the following: Billing, Rating, Online Charging Solution or Policy Control.• Expertise and commercial skills in managing day-to-day activities of complex engagements in multiple accounts.• Excellent communication skills, (verbal and written) to handle interaction with technical staff and influence to management level (internal and external).• A solid background in analytical thinking to effectively solve problems and manage technical, relationship and commercial issues.What makes MATRIXX different?Anyone can be in the systems replacement business, but that’s not what we do.  We are in the reinvention business – re-inventing BSS and the customer experience for the 5G world that’s coming.  A tall order some would say, but when companies ask “Isn’t good enough, good enough?”  we answer “Settling for what’s good enough today, won’t help you win for tomorrow.”  Our cloud native digital commerce platform is leading the way with agility, precision and performance into the next generation of customer experience.
