Job Description

Sales Operation Manager China supports the distributor 9X Bio 100% with Nanolive SA portfolio which includes 3D Live Cell Imaging instruments and complementary products and is responsible for coordinating sales and related support activities with academic, government or industry accounts within China.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Work closely with 9X Bio team and Nanolive’s Distributor manager to develop growth strategy, provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and meetings as required

• Prepare and implement a Territory Sales Plan, with focused sales initiatives, to capture market share and to deliver results

• Maintain records of inquiries, leads, demos requests in the appropriate format and report to Nanolive HQ

• Coordinate and support 9X Bio team with the demonstrations of hardware and software (on site and remote), perform quick demo only when necessary

• Coordinate, support 9X Bio team with application seminars, tech sessions, workshops, and exhibitions (present only when necessary)

• Provide 9X Bio sales team support if required on sales meeting with customers or 9X Bio support team on installation/support

• Participate actively Nanolive online training or visit Nanolive HQ for on-site training, and then train the 9X Bio team on new developments

• Ensure 9X Bio team is aware of updates in distributor supporting documents (i.e. Distributor Support page), work with the marketing responsible (Digital Marketing Manager China) to ensure the documents distribute in China are correct and up to date

• Work closely with Nanolive FAS team for the demonstration situation and customer questions, reports on technical and scientific trends by relating customer concerns and issues

• Coordinate (and basic support if possible) remote diagnostic, maintenance and troubleshooting with 9X Bio service team and Nanolive service team

• Work closely with Nanolive service team for the frequent issues and install situation, escalate critical issues to Nanolive HQ

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cellular Biology and products in the areas of Live Cell Imaging

• Education Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences or Biology, advanced degree preferred

• 1+ years sales experience in life science research industry

• Must have experience with cellular biology as prior work experience and/or education

• Prior knowledge of microscopy and laser technologies is a bonus

• Good oral and written communication with customers

• Team player spirit, resourceful and fast-learning mindset

• Strong sense of commitment and responsibility to respect planning and quality

• Chinese native speaker with English in working efficiency (oral and written), third language such as French is a plus

• Selling, negotiation, interpersonal skills, ability to effectively network

• Organized, detail oriented, and results driven

• Proficient in using MS office

• Frequent travel across China (with car and/or public transportation)
