Product Marketing Manager

Here at Labster, we are looking for a Product Marketer who can help us successfully reimagine science education in the higher education and high school markets.

This role will collaborate closely with product management, sales, marketing, customer success, and other product marketers to create and execute go-to-market launch plans, train sales and Customer Success teams on the product, develop product marketing collateral, manage internal and external communications, support the enablement of European and international sales teams, become an expert on Labster’s product and market, and help drive our overall go-to-market strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Help to lead go-to-market communications, positioning, plans, and product launches in the Higher Education and High School markets

  • Author and maintain product marketing materials, including pitch decks, flyers, videos, support articles, user guides, and demos

  • Become an expert on our product, market, users, and overall customer experience

  • Lead product training and sales enablement for sales, CS, and marketing teams in select markets

  • Conduct training sessions, create collateral, and lead demos that highlight Labster’s newest features and products

  • Execute market research and feedback-gathering activities including surveys, customer interviews, internal feedback capture, etc.

  • Drive creative marketing and PR campaigns that communicate the value of Labster’s groundbreaking virtual science labs

  • Partner with product teams to ensure the right products and features are being built for users in your market

 

If you’ve got these skills, we’d love to hear from you:

  • 3-6 years of experience in product marketing or related roles

  • Excellent Communication Skills - you’re an articulate and concise communicator, in both written and verbal form. You are comfortable translating complex technical information into clear guides and messages. You’re a great storyteller.

  • Background in the higher education/high school market -- or the publishing/education technology industry -- is a major plus

  • Strong Project and Stakeholder Management skills - you’re highly skilled at managing all details of complex product launches while effectively coordinating and communicating with diverse stakeholders throughout the organization.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred, or in place of a degree, equivalent years of relevant experience required

  • A passion for education, and Labster’s mission to “empower the next generation of scientists to change the world” is a big plus

  • International work experience, or experience working in a diverse global company, is important

  • Some science background or knowledge is a plus, but not required
