DevOps Engineer - Kaspr

Kaspr is a SaaS business, helping salespeople, recruiters and marketers in their lead generation efforts. Kaspr is the leader of the French SMB market and is making major strides towards becoming the European leader in the space.

The concept is simple - retrieve contact information from identified LinkedIn profiles, via a Google Chrome extension.

Summary:

As DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding and optimising our Cloud hosted infrastructure, pipelines and deployment processes, as well as building new systems for application and performance monitoring. We are looking for an independent and fast adopting engineer with skills to improve existing processes and introduce new concepts regarding Cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work and improve existing pipelines and deployment processes
  • Help with automated infrastructure setup
  • Automation of daily processes
  • Help to improve processes with monitoring and alert automation
  • Related technical document writing
  • Monitoring the infrastructure and troubleshooting issues, escalating to appropriate teams

Requirements

Key requirements:

  • Native speaking French and/or English with proficiency in spoken and written English
  • 2+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc)
  • University degree in Computer Science or a software engineering related field
  • Solid understanding of Linus operating systems
  • Understanding of concept around continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Knowledge in coding or scripting for systems automation (Python, Bash, etc)
  • Experience with containerization and clustering technologies (Docker, Kubernates etc)
  • Experience in version control systems and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions etc)
  • Experience with monitoring and log analysis
  • Experience with network and system administration

Considered a plus:

  • Infrastructure as a code
  • Experience with Nodejs development
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies (SCRUM)
  • Experience with REST, micro-services orchestration
  • Any AWS Certificate
