Financial Manager

Deepomatic is a leading AI startup that is changing the way people are building tomorrow’s world. Our technology is on the cutting edge of computer vision, deep learning, and AI. We allow any worker in the field to automate reporting and quality control by analyzing the pictures of his/her smartphone. We’ve raised several rounds of financing and are now in the scale-up stage. We are 60+ employees and will be 100 in the end of 2023. Now is the time to structure our finances. Working closely and under the CEO, your work will allow the company to develop relationships with its investors, get new financings, understand and optimize its operations and take strategic decisions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the finance operations of the company including reporting, banking, taxation, and insurance.
  • Execute the monthly financial reporting, and rebuild it to analyze operations, sales, and marketing and improve their performances.
  • Prepare Deepomatic board meeting (executive presentations for investors)
  • Establish and maintain relationships with analysts or associates of potential future investors.
  • Work with banks to invest our cash and manage loans.
  • Research potential funding from France State or European Union, and build the applications.
  • Perform legal contract review, think about contractual leverage to increase our revenues or margin

Job requirements

Must haves:

  • Have strong process-oriented thinking.
  • Sound and logical decision-making in complex situations
  • Have prior project/corporate finance and accounting experiences
  • Successfully operated in an unstructured environment ad across multiple different cross-functional matrix organizations
  • Comfortable negotiating with domestic and international vendors on behalf of the company
  • Speaking perfectly English
  • Fluent in French

Nice to haves:

  • Basic knowledge of the law to work on customer contracts
  • Some understanding of artificial intelligence
  • knowledge and experience with the enterprise software sector
  • At least three-year experience in project engineering or related roles.

Education: A master's degree from a reputable university or engineering/business school is required. An MBA degree focused on corporate finance and operations is a huge plus.
