Preply Business partners with hundreds of clients globally to bring personalized language training to the workforce. Companies like Zendesk, Eventbrite, and ByteDance trust Preply to help their employees speak more confidently at work. Over the past year, the team has grown by over 300% and we’re hiring an Account Executive in the US to help fuel this growth.

As an AE, you will be responsible for generating pipeline, driving the sales process from demo through close, and serving as the face of Preply to all prospective clients. You will work closely with sales leaders at Preply as well as our sales development and account management teams to achieve your goals. We’re looking for candidates who are consultative sellers, self-starters, and excited about the opportunities to learn and grow in a start-up environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Generate new business opportunities through cold outreach
  • Manage a sales pipeline of inbound and outbound leads from prospecting through close, and effectively collaborate with other teams (SDRs, AMs, Product, Marketing, etc.) in the process
  • Develop an understanding of each prospect's business needs and communicate a customized solution effectively
  • Build strong relationships with key client decision-makers / influencers who are responsible for Learning and Development and Human Resources across key accounts
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve $600k of annual new business revenue

What you need to succeed:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in a closing role
  • 1-2 years of experience as an SDR with a proven ability to generate pipeline
  • Work experience in B2B sales, with SaaS experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting customized product demos 
  • Short to medium sales cycle experience (2-3 months);
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to effectively articulate our value proposition as part of an overall business solution;
  • Proficiency with Sales CRM solutions (such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong);
  • Can-do attitude, ambitious and passionate
