What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting the compliance team with day-to-day operations;
  • Responding to customers’ questions and questionnaires on compliance matters;
  • Assisting in responding to data subject access requests with our Data and Compliance teams;
  • Assisting with Cognism’s ISO 27001/27701 and SOC2 audits and keeping adequate records and evidence;
  • Conducting due diligence on key third party vendors and partners;
  • Drafting compliance template documents and conducting research on compliance topics;
  • Assisting in the review of internal processes with IT, Operations and Security to ensure compliance and enhance our internal practices;
  • Onboarding and off-boarding employees and ensuring that all Cognism employees complete relevant security and compliance trainings.

 

[London based role- availability to go to the London office 2-3 times per week]

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1 year or + experience in a compliance role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language).
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and problem-solving skills.

Desired (but not essential)

  • Knowledge on GDPR, CCPA and other data privacy regulations;
  • Knowledge on information security standards (including ISO 27001/27701, SOC2, Cyber-essentials);
  • Experience working in a tech company/start up, in a fast-paced environment.
