Egon Steinkasserer

Egon Steinkasserer is Chief Technology Officer B2B since January 2021. He reports to Urs Lehner (Member of the Group Executive Board). Before that, he was Chief Product Officer B2B for 2.5 years and Head of Innovation for 4.5 years, responsible for both traditional telco and digital innovations. Prior to joining Swisscom, he worked for 7 years for Würth Phoenix, the software and consulting company of the Würth Group, in the role of Chief Technology Officer. Egon is a technologist and software enthusiast with broad and deep know-how. Various domains like ERP, CRM, Cloud, Big Data, SDN/NFV, Wireline and Wireless Broadband are the core elements of his vast experience. After studying computer science at the Saarland University, Egon Steinkasserer, born in 1972 in South Tyrol (Italy), developed software in leading positions – including Semiramis and SAP.
