Max Vogt

Max Vogt is an Investment Analyst at Swisscom Ventures, having joined the team in the summer of 2024. He is part of the investment team and supports investor relations.

Max holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Zurich and a Master of Laws in Technology and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong, he was part of the Senior Management of St. John’s College, where he took on a leadership role in managing a community of over 200 students from across Asia.

Max began his career in Southeast Asia, working in the Corporate Development and Strategy team of one of the region’s largest FinTech start-ups. There, he contributed to the company’s rapid growth before transitioning into venture capital, joining a small VC firm focused on early-stage investments. His experience has provided him with a strong foundation in both strategic development and investment analysis.

He is particularly passionate about supporting innovative start-ups and talented founders emerging from Swiss universities, especially ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, where he grew up.

On a personal note: outside of work, Max enjoys sports, traveling, and learning new skills. He is also deeply committed to universal access to education, and community-building which are values he embraced during his time in Hong Kong, where communal learning and collaboration were central to his experience.
