Alexander Schlaepfer
Prior to joining Swisscom Ventures in June 2016, Alexander was co-founder and partner at Paris-based Aster Capital, the corporate venture platform of Schneider Electric, Alstom and Solvay where he led investments in renewables, energy storage, industrial IT, data analytics and IoT. Before becoming a VC, Alexander headed up Strategy, M&A, Sales and Marketing at Alstom’s €3.5bn Power Service sector and prior to that held several operational management positions at ABB in the Middle East. He also co-founded and chaired a robotics start-up at ETH Zürich and is active as angel investor in Switzerland.
